Основой для него будет взято древнее родовое поселение Кюнлюм, наиболее сохранившееся селение на территории Кабардино-Балкарской и Карачаево-Черкесской республик», — пояснила Жангуразова.

Она добавила, что также в регионе будет запущена серия уроков по истории балкарской культуры для школьников. По ее итогам в республике пройдет конкурс эссе «Место силы моей семьи», в которых ученики местных школ смогут рассказать о традициях своего народа и поделиться воспоминаниями о своих предках. В дальнейшем лучшие работы также будут использованы в создании виртуального музея.

Кроме того, в КБР намерены оцифровать одну из старинных башен поселения Кюнлюм. «На территории поселения есть средневековые башни. Некоторые из них бесследно уже исчезли, некоторые находятся в разрушенном состоянии. Мы хотим оцифровать башню и сохранить ее состояние на сегодня, чтобы в дальнейшем у нас была платформа для их реконструкции», — уточнила Жангуразова.

Средства на реализацию проекта — 418 тысяч рублей — были выделены в рамках гранта Президентского фонда культурных инициатив. Ожидается, что все работы будут завершены до 31 августа.
